Holy Word! I was told this was canceled!! Now i find this?!

Wow i cannot beleive this. I was told months ago this idea was trashed and i was just surfing the net to see "Phantasy Star Universe E3 updates May 06" I bout fell out of my chair in amazement. I read its release is planned for October of 06 is this accurate?! I am so excited i am gonne be doing nothing but searching info on this solid for days on end nights after nights. The confirmed release date for Japan is August 31st. For North America and Europe, I think all we have is a generic Fall 2006, but October seems quite likely. If not OCtober then probably November.

The game was cancelled for GC and Xbox (although technically it wasn't ever in development for those systems to begin with) and was set to be a PS2/PC exclusive.

this is amazing. I simply cannot get enough of the screenshots and videos. Is there any videos of someone fighting a boss? The whole "cancelled" thing came from IGN, because they listed the GC and Xbox versions as cancelled. But Sonic Team never even announced the game for those consoles to begin with, so yes they technically weren't even in development.

I'm as excited as you, when I heard it was only PS2 and PC I was very upset, almost trying to find reasons to buy a ps2 just for the game lol. Then not to long ago i stumbled on its release for the 360 as was extremely excited as well. I can't wait for fall. I really want this game, brothers in arms, gears of war, medal of honor 3, and Mass Effect lol.

i dont know how i am going to be able to contain this excitement.. i havent ever been this hyped over a game. I played from the first PSO game and had to quit on GC PSO before i moved be cause we shut the net off and such. When i moved to my current home i just got Cable internet and could never find a Broadband adaptor for my GC. I then shortly after giving up on a Adaptor traded my GC for a PS2 cause mine broke. Still to this day I miss PSO Ep.1&2's offline mode http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif . I would bout give anything to have this game right now haha. Ah all i can do is try to tough it out and keep checking on it everyday http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif Thats what? like 100+ days or so.. rough estamate which is probly way off.
