"I know everyone can't use every weapon, but somehow Ethan does, what is he???"

Neo

But, realy, the weopons you use are based on your job, or class. The clips are not all from Ethan in the same class. You decide what Ethan's class is.

He's Human. Period. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif Like past NPCs, he'll be able to use any wep he wants. In the demo, you could switch between Hunter & Force weps easily on the same carried wep list. He doesn't have to switch classes at a counter apparently, so in a way, he's cheating. LOL

h4Xors (spelling) mind you!!

But yes, since single player will revolve around less strategic play (unlike online) and more story, he is made to be the Omni Fighter!!!

Ethan is a Hero class, which unlocked upon reaching level 20 with Hunter Force and Ranger http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Ethan is realistic, instead of obeying incredibly stupid and forced game mechanics? I dunno.

It's like, I'm a cashier, right? But then they send me to go work in this other department and put stuff people have left all over the store where it goes. Just because they did that, it doesn't mean I've suddenly forgotten how to be a cashier and if I had to hop on a register in the middle of it I wouldn't be able to and would just stare at it stupidly and ask WTF I was meant to do with it. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

Maybe they don't forget, but they have to be issued certain weapon storage module thingies depending on their class? Like a hunter weapon storage doohiky has trouble storing Force weapons since it's modified to hold big swords and crap like that. Maybe there's some kind of conflict between swords and wands/staves. Maybe Ethan was given a special weapon storage doohiky that lets him use everything?

Just throwin' a stupid idea out there. Doesn't make much sense to me either.

Don't compare the online rules to the offline rules.

So playing with Ethan in the story mode lets him switch back & forth between classes at anytime? Why can't we train with two classes at a time?

That is probably the best way we can explain this. Just don't compare em and move on with life.

He's the main character of the story mode. Of course, the main character can use everything. He's the freakin' main character of PSU. XP

So essentially, he friggin' cheats. XO
