Forces?

im going to get PSU for xbox 360 and i want to be a force as my main character. i tryed look through videos and there not much about them. so can anybody tell me about them like what there good at etc and some videos http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Well as far as we know they are the only ones able to use techniques, as well as bows. I might be able to find some videos.. But yeah... they have high Technique Attack Power and MST, but are quite low in everything else (by class definition... you can sacrifice TAP and MST for a little more durability by opting for a beast or cast force, but FOnewearl will make the strongest force)

As for advanced combat weapons, forces do have access to dual daggers, and spears, onlong with the typical one handed mellee blades.

That should give you a decent overview of what Forces can do.

i'm looking through that guide and have a question. only rangers could dual weild 2 handguns in the beta?
also what is plasma hit? is it just a normal non elemental shot?

lastly this cofused the hell out of me.

Yes only Ranger could use dual handguns in the Beta. It makes sense really.

IIRC Plasma hit is a electric elemental shot type for a certain gun.

And as for the barata shots, they're just elemental bullet blasts for the shotgun I believe. They just have different names.

Those are the names of some elemental Photon Arts for the Shotgun class. I plan on explaining what they are when I get around to creating the "Bullet" Photon Art Guide.

They seems to have given forces the upper hand in PSU which is about time.

no its not. this actually concerns me because of how incredily over powered black mages are in ffxi. and forces were damn powerful in pso if you didnt rely full on damage techs.

techs damage were useless online only good tech was megid and that was for seabed and certain enemies.

Everything else was killed faster with weps than techs.

and i liked it that way. i liked being a melee force that buffs teamates and does some melee damage of thier own. my favorite damage tech in pso was grants with my fomarl. everything else was boring.
