Was it feasible to go melee as a ranger? Compared to PSO, could a ranger go up and melee carefully or would it be a complete failure?

i think ranger can melee but only gain acess to the lvl 1 photon arts. plus it gives you something to do while your pp recharges.

You can melee as a Ranger. Everyone has access to spears, sabers, and daggers (dual and single). However, you need to be careful because your HP is fairly low.

1)Melee Photon Arts can level up to 10 when you're a Ranger.

2)The PP of your guns dont recharge when you're doing melee. Weapon PPs dont recharge automatically unless you have the weapon you want to recharge equipped.

So Rangers have pretty much basic melee capabilities thats good to know i was planning on keeping a melee weapon on me as a sidearm if i get caught in a corner etc.

On the beta i believe it was :

Hunter: Lvl 20 melee, Lvl 10 Guns, Lvl 0 Magic

Ranger: Lvl 10 Melee, Lvl 20 Guns, Lvl 0 Magic

Force: Lvl 0 Melee, Lvl 0 Guns, Lvl 20 Magic.

I think, i dont know though. just thought I'd attempt some insight.

not 100% sure, but I think it was lvl 1 melee, lvl 10 guns and lvl 20 magic for forces.

This is 100% correct.

Hunter: Lvl 20 melee, Lvl 10 Guns, Lvl 0 Magic

Ranger: Lvl 10 Melee, Lvl 20 Guns, Lvl 0 Magic

This is also correct.

Both are correct in terms that they were the limits for beta. But speculation based on the new videos points to that max limit being 30 (reason being that existing PAs ended up with new animations in videos; unless they changed the PAs themselves, it can only be a combo extension).

Coolio, I always liked to keep a blade on hand with my ranger, just incase it's needed somewhere.
