I'm pretty sure no, but the way everyone is talking, things are getting confusing. Sounded like someone said you can be like a RAnewm and still use spells. Well, I thought only forces could!

uh no, I believe there was something mentioned about being able to cross class your character...

No, you've got to stick with whatever battle type you select; unless you decice to change your type license. You can do that as often as you'd like, but with each change, the cost goes up. From the type select counter translations I've done, here're how things work.

Hunters can learn skills up to lv.20, bullets up to lv.10 and cannot use technics. Rangers can learn skills up to lv.10, bullets up to lv.20 and cannot learn use technics. Off of the top of my head, I think forces can learn skills and bullets up to lv.1 and technics up to lv.20. (I need to double check that one, though.)

Bullets level 10 for forces, I believe. Skill level 1.
