Can you change what ETHAN wears?? and can you be anyone else

So my unnderstanding is that you have to be Ethan offline what i wanted to know is if you could change his clothes or not.. and can you pick anyone else offline besides ethan??

It's been awhile since Ive trudged through a lot of PSU info. But what I remember is that yes Ethan's clothing can be changed (can buy new stuff for him). As far as playing other characters, I know extra mode allows you to make your own character. With Story Mode though Ethan is your character.

You can change his clothing. Have a look at this guide for details:

You will also probably be able to change your Extra Mode character's clothing.
