This is good news, as you can pretty much guarantee that the US version will be inbetween Japan (August 31st) and Europe (Novermber) Honestly I'm surprised Europe is getting it so soon, they're normally half a year behind on PSO versions

Which is good tidings for us all in the long run as well.

It is kinda surprising it's only going to take them 3 months to release it here in EU after the JP release...

1)Kinda soon considering this is a Phantasy Star game we're talking about.

2)3 months gap... havent we heard a 3 month gap being mentioned somewhere before?

Takao Miyoshi:...so, say Japan receives the game three months before the United States, updates will be on an automatic three month delay for the US version, or something along those lines...

It's probably just a coincidence but still, I find it interesting, how the supposed 3 month delay in release may be true after all, not between JP and US, but between JP and EU.

Still, there's no way I'm gonna wait till the EU release if it comes out sooner in the states. Importing ftw!

Its not that surprising. From what I hear, all the voicework for story mode is already done.

Either way, the sooner this comes out, the better.

Until I hear differently, I'm inclined to believe the Oct. 24th release date from when I reserved PSU at the local gamestop. Still, a November release date in Europe is an encouraging sign that PSU may be hitting the states sooner.

since EU and US will use the same servers, its likely they'll have a 'worldwide' (except japan) release on it.

Well, being in the Uk hopefully we might be able to just buy the US one...we always get the American voiceovers anyway!

The 'worldwide' (post JP) launch makes sense as far as the servers are concerned, but what about localization for EU? I don't know how many languages will be supported in the EU version, but if there were to be a delay betwen US and EU launch, I'd put money on that being the culprit. =/

I hope they have servers US based so we don't get funky lag.

Well, the offical Sega EU page, which we all know is updated ALL THE TIME ( http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif ) still says Autumn, which would make sense. Isn't part of November considered Autumn?

That was speculation by people on these boards, there was never any actual statement by Sega that the 360 release would be later than the release for the other systems.
