I think this shows a good possibility of what PVP "could" be like in this game.

Oh, and on a side note...
Who would win in a pvp battle?
Chuck Norris? or Chistopher Walken?

In the clip at that section, he is fighting against a human(or, humanoid) character. Looks like one of the main npcs.
I just love the battle mechanics of this game. I think its going to to very well.

Well i think this game would have had a tight Battle Mode if they added a battle mode.
But they didn't say they were never gonna add one either.
PSO battle was fun if you fought others that were the same class type as you and wasn't battle rule 1 or 5... That battle rule had no skill in it what so ever... It was the person with the highest level and the best weapons that win... Or if your a good Ranger you could win rule 1 with ease...

No hardcore PSO battler will not agree to fight anyone in Open battle or Rule 1 and 5 cause people used hacks and those battles wasn't fun and had no skill.


Only battle rules that made PSO battle mode fun were the rules that put all the players on the same level and they had to use what weapons they found in battle to fight. Expert battle rules were fun. The beginner Battle rules in PSO were horrible... And if they do plan on adding a battle mode in PSU in the future i hope they fixs the problems PSO BA mode had

I agree. Battle mode should be about skill.
Unless, of course, you just had to settle the score with some other player with your character.

Hopefuly the server-side saving and new protections will help if they plan to do a battle mode in the future.

I've heard multiple things on the whole PVP thing;

1. No Nanoblast/SUV
2. No SEs will proc

So basically if those in fact are true this means PVP will be based somewhat off the skill of players, and since Every attack won't send you to the ground(with the exceptions of some Skill PAs)

This of course means Hunters will be at a slight Disadvantage vs. the a Force wielding a Damu- Tech...

the only one to worry about is dambarta a hunter can shoot the force shield inside. or if its team play have a ranger shoot them
