As some of you know, PSU was there at the Japan Expo. Since I'm French, I was able to go there and to play PSU a bit more (I had the chance to participate to the closed beta).

Something interessting was written on the posters near the PS2s... It was written "Release date : November 2006", as said by Gamefront.de (check the PSOworld news !).

That would rock if the game was released on the 5th of November....that way that little comment would make much more sense, XD...

Does this mean we have any confirmation on a US release date? I'm sure US Xbox360 players will be the lasts people to find out or even the last to get the game, but it doesn't hurt to as with this new information arriving.

No, it doesn't. It means we have a confirmed month for the EU release.

However, one can infer from the fact that US releases tend to come first that the US release is sometime between August 31st and November, likely in October as most assume.

Im seriously banking on October, because regardless of what people say about eb/gamestop. Even if they do throw random numbers out for release dates, rarely have I seen them wrong, even if the date DOES change all the time http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

If the official release date is November for Europe, then the NA release date is most likely sometime before that.
Probably in October it will be out here in NA, most likely. (And I hope so too)

Almost everyone is seriously banking on October, O_O. Even the major retailers, but what the hell do they know, lol

well they said PSU Japan release date is August 2006. the official site says so .

Hm, well that's interesting. If EU really is getting the game in October, then there are only two possibilities:

1) The North American release might be in September; or,

2) The NA and EU releases are going to happen at the same time.

No offense to any Europeans, but you don't need to be Miss Cleo to know which one I'm hoping for. =)
