Emo people are weird (and real!)

For the past few years, I honestly thought people would just make fun of the emo subculture for hte hell of it and whatnot.

ogod, yesterday in the subway, I saw this anorexic twig (male) with the typical hair cut to a triangle to cover one eye, skintight pants to make his boner stick out, and a few bracelets, the whole deal. His girlfriend was well beyond overweight, and .. wore skintight clothing which barely fit. >_>;; Small hairtie, hair covering one right mascara eye, etc. Oh, and her whole left forearm was all cut and shit.

I was on my way to the Siren Music Festival (http://www.villagevoice.com/siren), and saw the couple in the subway. I honestly literally broke out laughing. Like, ohmigawd, nveer seen emo people before laughing. >_>;; When the train arrived at 42nd, I was about to get off, and wanted to take a picture of them. :3
She wailed out a loud "No!!~~" and almost broke out into tears. At that point I got off the train.

I dunno. I just wanted to post that. OH, and the Siren thing was pretty cool, too. I'll post pics/videos later. Art Brut is one of the bands every body must see live at some point in their lives. Hearing the music, and watching them onstage is a completly different experience. The Cribs also put up a good show. It's a shame I got there a bit late htough. I wanted to see Deadboy and the Elephantmen. >_.;;
