Blue burst

Ok...I downloaded the free version of BB and I was wondering two things...

1. I try to start the game and it says "Failed to update" and then shuts down...

2. Can you play offline?

1. Any firewalls running that may be blocking the patch server? If using a router, do you have any ports blocked. Are you on a connection that may have ports blocked (like some college connections, notably T1.)

2. Unfortunately no.
