Famitsu.com put up a small article a couple of days ago with pictures of some of the online base camps that you'll see on each planet. These areas are normally accessed after completing a mission. I believe these pictures were seen in the recent Famitsu scans, but I figured a few people may have missed these:

Guardian Colony

Neudaiz

Parum

Moatoob
http://www.famitsu.com/game/coming/2006/07/12/h-104_56735_psu04.jpg.jpg

The Guardian Colony and Neudaiz stages were seen in the closed beta.

Here is the URL for the story:

In the hot spring areas, you'll be able to remove your character's clothing (down to their underwear) and socialize with your fellow players while sitting in the baths.

HAH!! You kid me not, oh mighty avatar of all that is moderator!?

Well i'll be a buck toothed, eight-eyed gorrila with 17 tentacles coming out of his nostrel with a side dish of lettuce and De Rol Lei, covered in chocolate rappy sauce with sprinkles of chopped and minced nanodragon while dancing on the platform you go down on the first form of Olga Flow all together with a giant squid-da-puss (octopus + squid) on a lemonade stand!

A place to relax after clearing an area is an awesome idea. I spect I'll spend a fair amount of time in those areas.

Haha, and as everyone knows, people are far more social when they are naked o_o

Very nice screenshots.

The Neudaiz hotspring area is spectacular. Depending on your graphics settings, you can see steam rising from the pools. Also, there is one pool where you can see the setting sun.

Funny.

Idiotic and a marker of someone whose mind is so small there isn't room to amuse themselves with actual intelligent thoughts, hence the belief that prejudice and insults to people they've never met are actually amusing and witty.

Quite sad, really, but par for the course these days.

What a killjoy.

All I was doing was making a joke, albeit at the expense of the overweight. I will not defend my "no fat chicks" comment since it is indeed rude, crass, shallow, and better fitting for an episode of Married with Children or South Park. That is just the kind of sense of humor that I have. There are undoubtedly some heavysets that I may have offended with my crudeness, and to those I apologize. I know a lot of great people who are fat. But I have much more respect for the ones who can take a joke. And I am NOT shallow. I will elaborate on another post if need be.

I thought it was funny, and I work on and maintain over seven million dollars worth of electronics that require someone of above-average-intelligence to work on.

Fat jokes are always hilarious. And when my fellow co-worker cracks jokes in my direction since I'm half-Asian, those are hilarious too. Both of us happen to not have giant sticks up our asses.

Edit: Also, it's ironic that your little rant about prejudice happens to have a dose of it as well, since you associate crude jokes with a lack of intelligence. Apparently generalizations are OK so long as it suits your purpose.

"A fat woman sloshed into the shoe store today. Said she was retaining water. I told her not to worry the dam of cellulite should keep us all safe for the next few years!"

Deciding certain people shouldnt have jokes made about them is prejudiced and arrogant, you you think you're a superior life form to fat people and that they should be pitied or something?

YOU mention water and nakedness I think of swimming pool sex.

Fleece Biggalo, PSU Gigalo.

Nah, I think these relaxation areas are a good idea. It means that your party members can go for a cigarette break or to the loo or make a sandwich. Y'know stuff you usually had to pipe to do.

It's the undersuit. The skintight suit that they wear underneath their armor.

I see possible rare and store bought selected undergarment choices in our future!

And I'm love'n the Moatoob setting.
The color of the pool is relaxing to me and reminds me of a spa, no?
Cool waters, pleasant shade, relaxing breeze from the ceiling and archways....
ahhhh....
Can't wait.

What armor? Casts are machines. That "armor" is their body as far as I can tell.

a naked female cast looks a lot like the body suits the eva pilots wear. i think it would be cool if beast could walk around in beast mode in the hot springs.

Carlo210
Jul 20, 2006, 02:16 PM
Guys, since when is a cast's 'armor' their body? When you create a cast, you start with a cast and his/her body. You then put armor-plating on them. Simple. It's the same way you put clothes on a human, except it's armor-like plating for casts.

A Cast's body:

Hey hey watch what you say about the furries!

Just kidding. I just hope they don't view the hotspring as a watering hole or get stinky dog water all over us when they shake themselves dry. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_lol.gif

We beasts do NOT smell of wet dog!

>_>

We smell of wet cat.

Oh and Casts arent really totally machines now. They're cyborgs as far as I can tell, a combination of synthetic materials to create an artificial life form.

How else would they get poisoned http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif
