I want it to... But I have heard conflicting reports on whether or not it is gobba be packed in. if it does then that would be sweet! O yea I almost forgot, it won't charge anything for xbox will it? Cuz I think M$ said no companies were allowed to make additional fees.

September 24, 2002 - The earliest adopters of Xbox Live will be getting a special online demo version of THQ's Moto GP in addition to Microsoft Game Studios' all-new party game Whacked! for free when they pick up the Xbox Live Starter Kit this November. The Starter Kit games are intended to give Xbox owners instant online action without forcing them to purchase a full priced Xbox Live compatible game.

Phantasy Star Online WILL be the pack-in game for Xbox Live in Japan. It will NOT be the pack-in game for North America, as much as we'd like to see it happen. No idea on what will happen with the European release.

Additional fees for PSO on the Xbox in North America are still up in the air. Some say yes, some say no, some say who knows.

All of this is mere speculation... and rumors upon rumors...

No one knows when PSOeI&II XBox will be in the US... because Microsoft has not officially said anything about it. Everything you read about it are just posts on some message board stating that someone heard a MS rep talking. MS Reps talking doesn't mean "official".

NOT OFFICIAL: The reason it hasn't been added to game retailers online links could be because it isn't a game that you can buy by itself... if it IS indeed a pack-in with XBox Live... there wouldn't be links for it.

Imagine all the XBox Live Kits that will sell here if that is true... Some people would even buy a kit even though they dont have broadband... like me.

The XBox version is rumored to be free here per month, BUT I have also heard it WILL NOT have any quests included with the game. Want a quest? You have to pay for them...

Remember... this is just a rumor that was posted on a message board... believe what you want...

"It looks like XBOX PSO will be out next month, with no monthly or tri-monthly fees, but additional content, such as new offline quests, may cost extra."

We all better be ready just in case...

The full version of PSOep1+2 will be packed with XBOX Live in Japan, which will launch on Jan 16th. In the States, however, PSO will not be a pack-in.

In the US, there currently is no official release date, although Microsoft has an extremly tentative release date of "November 2002" in their database.
