I thought it was a dual-dagger photon art. Kinda like a cartwheel-and-attack sorta thing, but photon boots would be cool.

Along the back wall there are several crystals among the stones, thats what it looks like to me. Just happened to catch a foot in the right place to make it look like a blade on the boot. How would you walk with photon feet anyway?

If you look closely, you'll see the other foot is not glowing. The flash covers over part of 1 shoe, making it look like it has a photon blade on it. It is a PA for the hands. Some PAs just happen to involve a kick like a roundhouse (like I've seen Ethan do) or maybe even a cartwheel (like we see in this pic). Definitely hand-oriented.

The reason why his foot is glowing is because it's emitting a graphic effect in the form of a 'swoosh line'. Yes.
Like then someone swipes a sword. You see a 'swoosh line' graphic effect. The same thing is happening to his foot.

In Brightstar's (johnathan_f) PARUM video, the teammate called 'JagdNikki' reularly uses a dual-dagger photon art where she performs a cartwheel.
No photon boots.

And there we have it, it was a Dual Dagger, just like In PSO with a humar when he uses a claw, he cartwheels

It's not a dual dagger, I can assure you. I totally abused twin daggers along with twin saber in beta (most damaging weapon overall for hunters in game) and it's SA is a spin attack, in both of its segments.

You saw a dagger alright. It's a single-arm dagger though, and its SA is really acrobatic in nature (lots of rolls, somersaults, cartwheels)

Some PAs (it would seem) include some martial arts moves like various kicks. Since our chars (STILL! http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif ) can't jump, this is a way for them to actually leave the ground & use their bodies as weapons & not just rely on metal objects to do so. Add in the coolness factor & it seems there's going to be alot more variety than the standard 'hit-hit-hit' combo.

that would be sooo retarded. people hopping like bunnies to move faster, finding glitches in the evading targeting field, etc.

at least there are some PAs that cause them to jump and air slash, and etc. etc.

but manual jumping would be so abused it wouldn't even be natural.
