OR... do you (OP) mean IFRIT from every FF game. FF8 wasn't the only ff game with ifrit, although you do fight him very early on.

No. No they didn't. If anything, the look of ifrit just improved because of graphical advances.

Bah, don't care. They are all the same, except for little designs made by the artist in the game.
Anywho, I thought you guys meant he looked like the beasty dog thing called ifrit, but you guys really meant he looks like the ff8 version of him (which, imo looks no different from every incarnation of him from that point onwards).

I believe the comparison is being made to FF8 Ifrit mostly because he has a more feline face - resembling that of any large wild cat, whereas FF9's Ifrit has a flatter, slightly more ogre-esque face, and FF10's Ifrit has a long dog like snout. The cat faces are probably the closest comparison to Nano'd beasts.

its fun to look at but the only reason i compared him to the ifrit on ff8 is because its the only one that i played and beat.. ive never seen any other ifrit but the point is they look the same!! two points for me!
