Ew, 80 dollars...And that doesn't even include shipping.

...I just wonder how he got his hands on it before the Japan release. Weird.

He doesn't have it yet. He's just making someone prepay for it and then he'll send it out when the game launches.

No one bye it for your own sake, it is just a rip-off you'll be able to get it for less yourself.

It's probably a PS2 game case with a printed off version of the cover. Nothing inside. Just the box.

Has anyone else ever heard of the idiot who bought an XBox 360 box[yes, a completely empty box] off Ebay for 1000$ because he didn't read the description properly? There was nothing anyone could do. He was stuck with a 1000$ box because he didn't read the description.

Please, folks, don't fall for something like that.

If you notice, that auction has no description. It simply shows a game case.

Also, read the small print: NIPPON VIDEO GAMES does not accept returns for any of its products listed on eBay. We are not responsible for any possible added import taxes. Payment must be made within 7 days from the ending date of the auction, if not you automatically agree not to complete the auction and a negative feedback rating will be placed. Serious buyers only! Do not hesitate to contact us if you have any further questions.

No possibility of returning it, and they aren't responsible for "import taxes" (basically saying they might charge your credit card more than the outcome of auction, and you couldn't do anything about it). Also, someone should contact them and ask them how they possibly managed to obtain a copy of the game previous to the release. Unless maybe it's the PS2 demo disc from the Famitsu contest? o_0

Edit: Ack... damn long URL stretched out the tables... might you edit your first post so that it says something else in place of the full URL?

Ohhh maaaan...

I would've shot myself if I spent 1000 dollars on an empty box.

Jeez.

Well, I guess you can't blame the sellers... Just the idiots who buy them without reading the description.

I already questioned him about it. I'll post the reply as soon as it arrive.

Edit: There were other sellers, but the one i looked at [other than this one] had the release date in the description.

Bah, party-pooper. That's actually what I thought, that it was just a pre-order thing, but going with the conspiracy theory is so much more fun.

ordering online is undependable.

rather buy it directly at a store when it's released (of course calling first if they have it in stock) http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif

Not true, Box II Special Champion Edition supports 5 players.
