I've looked all over the web, and apperantly if the info is out there, I'm just not getting it. I'm not new to computers, but this is the first time I've built a home network. I'm having a helluva time getting my Xbox and PS2 to connect.

Everything else works great. The two workstations downstairs are wired to the LinkSys wireless router, and my personal computer upstairs is connected via Wireless USB adaptor.

Now.. from here, I've been trying to set up my PC with ICS to share that internet connection with my consoles. I've got the wireless connection shared - and it seems want to connect fine to my hub. I'm not getting any errors or restrictions with the Local Area Connection... but when I go to search for Xbox Live, it'll automatically aquire the IP's - but get caught up trying to detect the DNS settings.

Anyone know what the problem might be?

Nevermind...

Sever went erratic, upgraded the firmware - but it just became worse. Took the router back and replaced it. Turned out the default IP of the Router was the same as the IP my ISP was assigning me. For some reason, apperantly, the first router wasn't catching the conflict. Now that it is resolved, everything is working fine. Both PS2 and Xbox are ready to go.

Now I just need to find a way to network my NGC through my PC using a modem card. I really don't want to pony up the cash to buy a NGC BBA.
