So I perordered PSU today

I went to EB to check if I was able to preorder, and I was. The lady gave me a release date of Oct. 2.

Anyone been told otherwise?

EB Games doesn't know. Gamespot doesn't know. Sega doesn't know. We don't know.

But yeah, that sounds about right. We're looking for an October/November US release date right now.

they were right about many game releases before. not always the exact date, but definitely the exact month.

I heard that Sega(I think...) said that they where going to release it in October. Sounds right because the euro release is in November.

Anyway, a Sep/Oct release seems realistic.

This might depend on what copy you're looking at getting.

When I went in a few months ago, they only had the PS2 version for preorder, but when I went in today, they finally had the PC version in their database.

That's odd, Kuda...I pre-ordered both the PC and PS2 versions, and both have the release date of October 26th, here. October 2nd....sounds a little too soon, if you ask me.

And I wouldnt believe any EBGames date if I were you, Kuda & Nish, you guys got 2nd and 26th, but if you check the website, all versions have the 24th as the release date. Me thinks they dont know a thing about the release date.

Or, it could be the fact that Kuda's store isn't that all up todate in their systems. I've had no qualms at all with my EBGames, as they haven't given me any problems yet with release dates.

I'm getting a Wii. Almost everyone that I know (outside of forums and other online stuff) that plays PSO is getting a Wii. A lot of people that have PSO for Gamecube are getting a Wii. So I don't think that being a PSO fan makes someone not want to get a Wii.

ps im going there pay day and reserving/paying off 1 more xbox 360 version and a PS2 and PC version (x360 for a friend and the rest for me i have every version of pso ya can think of that came out in the US)

anyways Wii won't affect anything because PS2 players will just buy the game.

PC players will just buy the game.

X360 players will buy the game when they get it.

The release of the Wii might affect PSU's sales, but not by much. The only people interested in PSU are hardcore PSO/PS fans, and I don't think many of these people are going to buy a Wii instead of PSU. In fact, I'm getting PSU instead of a Wii. Most of my gamer friends are getting Wiis on the day it comes out, and if both the Wii and PSU come out on Oct. 2, I'll probably go to EB with them when they buy their Wiis and I'll buy PSU, a USB keyboard, a new memory card (I imagine PSU will probably require tons of space for patches) and a Wii remote so that I can at least have my own remote when I'm playing multiplayer Wii games with them. But I'll hold off on buying a Wii until I start to get bored of PSU, which will probably be a long time in the future.

I'm guna ditch my hanaka request for an xbox360 and make it for PSU if I don't have it...I need a xbox360 for halo three and PS3 for kingdom hearts three...I'll need a wii to cuase I want red steal...but other then that....PSU MOTHER FUCKA....and yeah....I sure hope PSU comes out octber 2nd...I'm bored as shit waiting for it
