The console versions probably won't use nProtect Gameguard. In fact, I'm betting Gameguard is the reason why the PC version requires an Internet connection.

ya the console versions or at least PS2 version shouldn't have gameguard, otherwise all players would have to be connected online to even play the offline mode!
