I'm trying to get well prepared for PSU(since I am running the team FoxHound, who will all look like members of the Metal Gear Solid series) and that involves trying to make a Sega Link/Direct(or whatever it is called) account.Since I am not 100% sure what it is called I think I'll ask for help here(I would probably take a lot of time to find it).

Don't you need to actually have the game to sign up for that? I don't think they have somewhere that you can sign up for it, seeing as no games are out that support it yet.

They did mention it would be used for Blue burst, didn't they. And,besides,I want to at least know where it is.

when we get the game, it will help us go through the process of making account and stuff,
these sort of things don't take so long anyways. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif

What will? The game itself or the guide?

all online games that use servers and stuff like that already have programs built in to help players sign up with an account if required and stuff.

games like FF11 did this and consoles didn't need to go online with a PC to sign up before starting up the game.

the process is similiar to signing up for a messageboard but more straightforward.

I didn't know that since, well, this will be my first online game with a fee(not counting PSO,I didn't go online with, nor Metroid Prime:Hunters, because that was free and came with a booklet, not a built-in program).

ya these games are required to have built in programs to sign up for accounts, http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif

otherwise they would virtually be blocking off console version buyers who don't have a PC, from signing up and playing this game online. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/burger.gif

even online shooters like Timesplitters Future Perfect have programs you sign up with keyboard or in-game software keyboard for an EA account to play online. works like a charm. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif

the game itself will have creating and signing in account program built in.

it has to. otherwise there's no way to reach the server.
