Traps

I'm not sure if this has been answered yet but can every race and class use traps now?

I just read the link for traps. Awesome indeed! Nine types of traps & 2 grades of them. A non-Cast with a trap is going to be alot of fun! I also noticed that it said that when using the mines, your weapon is unequipped (unfortunately). Does this mean it will appear on your weapon list or will it be on your regular item list, or both?

I assume it will be in your regular item list, and you will simply be unable to drop them unless you deequip your weapon. I don't know that for sure, though.

Slightly off topic but what does infected status do?

Infected status means you been "infected" by a virus, I assume, which is essentially the same thing as poison. Meaning, it's DoT (damage over time). I believe it's the earth-element status effect.
