Personal "My Room" Music (for each room)

At the least, would be cool if there was a list of songs that were available to choose from.

I know you could play music while you play games on the 360. They stream from your hardrive, mp3 player, external hardrive, and computer. But im sure you already knew that.

actual "custom" music wouldnt be possible on ps2 but they could allow us to play certain in game music inside our my room. that would be very cool. it could work like any other "reform" item. youd obtain a "nights theme" my room item and you could give it to your PM to set as your my room music for all your visitors to hear.

It would be cool if you could buy a jukebox for your room that could play music from PSU, just like the jukeboxes in episode 3's lobbys. Even better if it has music from PSO and jet set radio and other sega games with good music.

Ohh in that case, if its in the game, im guessing standard songs will be already availible once you recieve your room, some you have to buy, and the really rare ones you have to find in a drop or trade for.

Hopefully they add the ability to let people hear the music you have playing atleast in the pc version.

Since the file format that was being used for music in the Beta PC version, it should simply be a matter of swapping an adx file for another adx file, just like with PSOBB.

I had this idea a while ago and I still think it'd be sweet to customize the music to at least some degree. It doesn't necessarily have to be your own music, but it could at least be a song from a provided selection. The more customization in your room, the better.

PC users should be able to upload their own tracks into their rooms, being able to listen to my own music would really help get me psyched!

taht would be hard to do. without the music track on other people's systems, how would they hear it? sounds quite difficult to do directly.

because you would have to consider track length, track size, and programming all of that, etc. would be quite a task. and for every character's room for every player?

That stupid Nights song from PSO makes me wanna take a bullet to my head. I hope and pray such a thing isn't in this game.

Back on topic, I think this is an interesting idea. And as for what I'd have playing, probably the last dungeon theme from PS4.

If Sega would put old Sega songs in My Room, just gimme PSIV themes Jiji No Rag, Laughter, King of Sorrows, Abyss, Ooze, Machine Center and the two PSI remixes and I'll be fine.

Heck, since Sega's been cooperating with From Software quite a bit as of late, I don't think it'd hurt to borrow a few Armored Core menu themes. Or the Otogi main theme if they decide to throw in planet-themed rooms (Neudaiz!).
