For melee, I'd probably use something fast like Daggers or Knuckles and something that has a wide range like a Sword. For range, I'd use a few rifles and that laser cannon looking thing. For tech casting, most likely support with a few of the AoE attack techs since I'll be playing with my friend most of the time.

I'll be a ranger ill probably use dual handguns because they would fire pretty fast but not use up too much PP and also they are common so if I ran out I could pick up another one. I'll aslo carry around some sabers.

anyway I haven't really thought about it. I will probobly use 2 swords or daggers.... but chainsaws and shotguns will always stay in my heart.

Nope. Melee weapons are always right-handed, as far as the Beta showed. The only exception to this rule was when you purchased dual-wield weapons for both hands as a set. Basically, the only way to dual wield weapons is to obtain a set of them. Mix-and-match doesn't seem possible, especially since photon arts for sabers and photon arts for dual wield sabers were seperate purchases.

As far as choice of weapon, I loved the spear a great deal. Dagger/Handgun combo as an alternate, pretty much.

well hopefully we can choose any weapon type we want from the start and career with that specific type as we level up and stuff. I have some ideas but it depends how they designed the shop and weapon type availability and selection, etc. etc.

Personally, I liked using the Spear and Twin Daggers for meleeing. The Sword was also pretty handy. Since I haven't decided on my primary job yet, I'm not sure which one will be my primary weapon class.

I will dual wield for sure. Deffinetly not daggers (I don't like roguely characters), I prefer more barbaric weapons like dual sabers. I wish there was dual axes, that's deffiently what my character would use and I use them in any game that I play that gives you the option to dual wield them.
