View Full Version : PSU Trial beta screens and problem

A friend sent me what he said was the psu beta trial files extracted and put into rar format. I installed it and so far I've made it to the creation screen yet I don't know how to get past that point.

When it goes to enter character name since I don't have JP text input it doesn't really let me enter anything, when I press a key it shows the large A letter and a small a Letter at the top of the character input name point like its choosing different types of writing styles but I can't get past this point.

There is no offline content that I'm aware of, the first selection on the menu after pressing enter is supposed to be offline but it is "greyed" out so im assuming the beta is online only and limited to things.

Wouldn't that be considered the hacked version? Just wondering....

You're playing the hacked version of the closed beta. That version gives you offline access to the character creator and nothing else. Before anyone else asks, you're not allowed to ask/state where to get this version.

EDIT: That also includes asking someone to PM you links for the files.

well nevertheless, I just wanted to test the character select and menu and possibly a level or so. Perhaps its hacked the person I got it from said it was there own beta that they were given access for and told me I could mess around with whatever I could

No worries my friend about the pic, atleast for me. Mine is 1920x1080 http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif And I really wish I could find this "Version" you have.

anyways...


Besides character creation, there is nothing else you can do besides rip music files. The PC beta took place entirely online.
