Yo seeker of soundtracks dude I used to talk with on AIM but can't anymore since I can't use AIM on this comp for whatever reason, do you have info on why the Cowboy Bebop PS2 game disappeared?
I found one place in the whole internet that sells a US version "IN STOCK!", which nobody actually has reported has even been released yet. A petition to release it with 147 signatures was also found. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif Along with a multitude of estimated release dates on preview sites dated back even to 2004.
I've seen worse anime licensed games released in the US, like Ghost in the Shell in the 90's for PS1. Red giant enemy crab game "to the max," if there ever was one.
Do you have any info on the game?
The US website went down a while ago and I never saw it, but the JP website looks very sweet take a look:

Lots of new characters/bosses/screens of the Time Crisis like ducking actions, etc.
I'm not the only one who would care if it got released. I think Shadowpawn would also, because I said so and other Bebop Jazz sound-track-head-dudes. ZOMFG I might have to go and sign the online petition.
