Ive joined clans and guilds before and i never liked it much. I cant stand being told what to do and though it was easier to find party memebers etc id rather just find them myself and avoid all the self righteous leaders etc.

Er... ah... I never had any problems finding competant players to join up with on my own. I never saw the point in making clans in a game like PSO or PSU where it's neither competetive nor obstructive to obtain high end gear by yourself.

Well its nice to play with ppl that you know their skill level and on a personal level, plus guilds tend to have added benefits such as Ventrillo/TS servers, a stronger consistant RP tie in and background in game, independent forums, more organization for the complex stuff in game (like some of the special events that PSO had later on), support for complex synchs as this game will have, etc.

Besides, its nice to sometimes be part of something larger then yourself so long as you believe in it and its for mutual benefit (and of course you get along with everyone).

Basically, its not necessary, but there are advantages to it....

I'm not gonna play PSU often enough to be the leader of my own clan, but I'll look around and see if I can find a good clan with competent and intelligent leaders and members and see if I can join them. But I probably won't bother with clans until my character gets to a high level.

I find racism and all that as bad as how you PERSONALLY take it to be. To me, it's idiotic to get pissed about that. If someone calls me a racist term, I wouldn't give a care honestly. I've been called tons of things and just find it humorous.

I don't see the real need for a clan/guild/alliance etc. for a game like this. In games like FF or WoW I find it more needed, thus I created "Illusions and Delusions," "Syndicate," and "SIN" aka "Sinister Intentions by Nature"

Oh and KylePhoenix, I don't know if it's my place to say this, but naming your Clan "KKK" no matter what the acronym represents still has negative connotations and I would advise against it. Why would you even want to start something that could be avoided?
