does the increased stats depend on what job (Hunter, Force, Ranger) you currently have?
SO...if you stay pure and don't dual class, then if u r a pure fo then ur HP will never go up?

Nothing is known atm on the Expert type thing besides the interview we read, so it is not known weather or not this will happen.

Yeah, how much each stat increases depends on what class you are when you level up. But, why are you under the impression that forces don't gain HP when they level up? They may not get as much HP as a hunter or ranger, but they still gain some HP.

lol of course Forces increase their max HP per level up.

a lv.100 Force with 50 HP would be pretty risky. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_lol.gif

but I wonder, if you level up with Hunter to like 10. and you switch to Force, which would start at level 1. if you level your Force class to 10.

would those stats be stacked onto your other class if you switch back to Hunter? probably not since that would be quite overpowering.

"Whenever you switch jobs, you lose the perks of your old one. Do not worry though, you can always regain them by switching your job again." - From the Class Customization guide.

I'm confused... I was under the impression that as you gain levels you get stats based on your race, and as your job level increases you get additional stats from that based on what your job is. I didn't play the beta though so I don't know if thats true.

Okay, I haven't played the game before, but I assume it'll work like this:

Since each character can switch between jobs, your characters stats increase based on what the stats for that job are. When you switch classes, your stats will become whatever the stats for that class is at the level you are.

For instance, you level up to 20 as a Hunter. When you switch to Ranger, your stats will be altered to what a level 20 Ranger would be. Your stats aren't permanent unless you remain the same class, if you change class your stats will change.

I guess it will be more like PSO.
A human hunter stats lvls different from a Cast Hunter. ..
So I think the stats will vary depending on both job and race.

When you switch job you get the stats depending on Lvl-Race-Job

And I almost forgot.. Hi everyone:)

Welcome Legenden!
I think that your character gets stats at each level only depending on his/her race. Then you get the job boosts, which change if you evolve on different jobs. Say you don't have a job, you have basic stats. Adding a job would be like adding an item to your equipment and changes depedning on the job lvl and which job.

I was wondering about this as well so I experimented. I created two level 1 human female and I leveled one as a Hunter and one as a Force. Then I reconverted the FOrce one into a hunter. The job you are in doesn't affect your stats! I mean...the level up IS different but when you switch back to hunter the stats are the sama as if you had done a level as a HUnter. Glad about it!

I don't think it's possible to not have a job in PSU.

No no no, the job you choose will cause your stats to go up in certain areas, you can switch jobs back and forward at lvl 1 and get the same thing, but try compairing Lv 10 FO and Lv 10 HU and tell me the difference then http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

This is not what he is asking.
Race and job exp are separated. If you level up as a Force and then you switch to a Hunter all your stats will not be "compromised". Of course you have to level up your job to get the same bonuses that a for ex a Human of the same race, but higher job level has. So no, your race level ups are not affected by the job you are doing at the moment.
