HUnewm costume concept pictures. (2 currently)

Well, I'll yak about the details, but the basics is, It's a HUnewm.

Can you spot the section ID? Props if you do.

Anyway, details/ Things I thought about while drawing:

The sword? A bit of merdge between the Phanta early series Elysdeon, and PSO's Elysion. That and crystal bladed things seem awesome to me.

The turtleneck sweeter? My friend wore one once, I found it is an asset that is alluring in my mind. ^_^

The jacket? PSU had jackets, PSO didn't.

The belt around the neck? I like to call it 'Ribbon-Bling' One end hangs over his shoulder, just to look cool.

The ear thing? I thought it was cool, inspired by PSO ep2 Elly. I figured that depending on hair or face, it would look different. (And likely a monocle one. *Monocle*)

The ears? Well, I thought they should be tilted up slightly, like HUney's.

Hair? Ponytails kick ass. And the strand of color is just for him. He's a character I'm working on. Great model too.

Zonde much? Heck, easy to draw, 'cause I suck at flamey stuff.

(Any tips? Oh, and all the detail was because I've always wanted to look into the mind of the artist a bit, so I decided to let you guys do that. Feel free to ask questions.)

as for critique, the arms seem to be too short (and too sketchy?) , the rest is personal
your colouring looks great, I like all the blue in the sword('s glow ;o). it reminds me of the mace of adaman turned around =p

I think the robed apparel looks a little too FO-ish...although I probably shouldn't be criticizing because I'm not really sure what I'd come up with myself http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_confused.gif

Anyway, it looks great overall, I'm not going to nitpick on the anatomical stuff because this was for costume design purposes....although I really like the shades of color used on the hair and Elysionesque weapon.

Id think Hunewm would be more closer to beast then girly elfy. I mean Hune are like Amazons already right?

You're right on the money, Tingle. Sonic Team thought the HUnewm might be a little huskier than that. Here's an example from the Book of Hunters--

Meh, I can't say I agree with Sonic Team on this one. Why have the FOnewm be elfy and the HUnewm suddenly turn into the next Beast on PSU?

And yeah, Tingle, the HUneys were kind of ment to be Amazonish, but I think a lot of people didn't go for that kinda proportion. Maybe I'll make the 3rd one more like that... but I've already started the second.

I've seen the book of Hunters picture, personally, I didn't take to it, so I decided to mess with it the way I like. Bent to my discretion... Though I think, if this was a character class actually, that you could fix that with the proportion option. ^_^ Thanks for your imput.

And Joe makes a fine point, even though, comparing HUneys to the little femine ball of Megid counter-part, I can see points in where they are alike.

And yus, Foxix, now we know. Heh heh. ^_^

Yeah, I just replied to EVERY post. In anycase, I always thought that the ears were always more magically inclined. (But not vertically, for the most part anyway.) And Casts to me, were more strength, and Humans were ment to be the Jack-of-all-trades. And also, if you think about it, there are no Newman RAs, because they lack accuracy, and no Cast Fo's, for obvious reasons. So if all possiblities were worked out, you would get 6 hunters, (Which was also labeled in the manual as the 'beginner class') And 4 RAs, and 4 FOs. You could claim that this makes it 'unequal' but since when is anything perfectly equal anyway? And hopefully my second example will be up in a bit. Sorry for the ear-full. Hehe.

ack, that image Meira gave us is a bit disturbing for a HUnewm, or any other Hunter for that matter, looks more like a brute. ColonD's HUnewm looks cool and unique with his coat, don't think its to FO-ish, I also like the HUnewm that joe posted. I would like to see a RAnewm or a RAnewearl though, that would be interesting.

the hunewm Meira showed us is kinda af scary cause I always imageined him as a skinny little fonewm with some freaky quick battle skills and was like really good with some kind of claw or something........but that is just kinda scary.....nice pics by the way.....love em.....oh that hunewm better have more attack then a hucast or something is wrong with sonic team......he looks like he has like no mental powers at all

HUnewms dressing up like HUnewearls would be more disturbing, I wouldn't want to see a male newman slashing things up while wearing the same things a HUnewearl does.
