id sugestions for getting the best ranger stuff

The Frozen Shooter/Spread Needle and Red Mech/Yas900 combo are particularly evil, and all 4 items can be obtained with Purplenum. Go for it.

Not only that, but they're all fairly easy to get.

The FS took 1 hour of piping for me, and I just did 50 or so runs of the first few rooms of Retired Hunter for my spread needle. The same procdeure could easily be followed for the Red Mechs.

The Yas is kind of hard though. Before I got FSOD'd, I had a 9000m that I spent WEEKS looking for. Definately worth it though. All in all, I think that the rifle range on it makes it better than RM.

Greenil actually gets more ranger weapons including 3000R, and 7000V. The only thing they don't get is the 9000M.

I voted for Yellowboze just from my personal experience. You can get Visk-235W, Crush Bullet, and Meteor smash early on, and Red Scorpio and Heaven Punisher are available in the Ultimate Cave.

I agree. Yelloboze are good for that. meteor smash is great for Ramar and Ramarl. Guilty light isn't bad either. Yellowboze definately.

just started the game again sense my first experience of the dreamcast. guess il have to make seperate purplnum char =/

yeah. pinkal was what i got first round threw and i have access to the lowest level rares of pretty much everything, shotguns sabers wands(cant use) etc. so my advice for others is to never choose pinkal.(if you have a choice)

If you want a LOT of, but pretty crummy, ranger stuff go Greennil. They get the three master rifles, plenty of varistas and the red handgun and red mechguns.

Purplenum is excellent for ranger stuff, whitill if you want to bother hunting a Guld Milla (usually a lot more trouble than it's worth http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_lol.gif )

Purplenum gets Frozen shooter and Spread needle, which are pretty much must haves for a RA.
