Will someone give us a tour of Holtes City????

since the PC closed beta we seen a little of this and that of that Parum city but no clear idea what area leads to what, how big it is, etc. etc.



the only good video and image tours (really lengthly and detailed tours) we have seen are those about Cylez City on Guardian's Colony. I think oShojino made a personal video tour of Cylez City, and this recent video showed the online intro itself showing a brief tour of each floor.

right now Holtes City looks to be my favorite city I'll hang around because simply the enviornment and high tech future city-style and wide streets and countless neon buildings and signs and jaw dropping endless traffic soaring through the skies and beautiful sunny time of day with moving cumulous clouds

so now we pretty much know Guardians Colony Cylez City in and out but what about Holtes City?

I remember the small instanced PSO 'town' back then used as a HUB. I was like what the fudge? lol. so tiny in comparison.

okay from what I could gather.

there is the Central Area, which looks like all incoming flights drop off players.

The East Area has 2 unknown buildings you seem to be able to enter.

West Area has some shops and like 2 or 3 exits that lead to some special buildings it seems. are they closed off or have people actually entered them all?

Im sure there's more than 3 sectors because Cylez City has like 5 floors/sectors. so I think those buildings they didn't enter might have some interior sectors to them.

The building at 00:52 brought you to the mission select screen.

01:04 let you change your class (and other class-related stuff, like the 5th floor in Cylez City), if I remember correctly.

The 3 buildings you see at about 01:47 are shops (can't remember which), and their design was the same as the ones on the colony. The path at 01:58 led down a ramp to a door, but I couldn't open it. 02:20 is the mall.

We did cover it. It's not like a large building you walk into that's full of shops. Think of it more as an open air mall. It has shops that carry accessories, room goods, synth boards, clothing, etc.

This is the only pic I found (in my screenshots folder, you can probably find some online) of the mall. There's a few menus in the way, but you can still see what it looks like. >_>

You can walk around inside the class building, but not the mission select one.

The building at 01:00? That's the Holtes City Guardians Branch HQ. If I recall correctly, you can walk into it. It has a lobby with a desk in the middle. That's where you can purchase a new class license. On either side of the desk in the back of the lobby are stairs that lead up to conference rooms, I think they were. During the beta, they were of course closed off. If you look back through the screenshot threads we had going during the beta, I'm positive you'll find some screens of this area.

I don't think it does. It just takes you to a map of the planet you're on. (Not the whole planet, just a section.) When you highlight a mission, the map will zoom in and center on the area the mission takes place in.

Oh, also, let me make a small clarification to what I said before. The building at 02:20 being called a mall is actually the General Resource Manufacturer Shop. I was referring to the shops outside that one. The G.R.M. Shop, though, isn't one gigantic mall. It's more in line with a department store divided up with different kiosks selling different wares; photon arts disks, weapons, SLS, etc.

Personally, I never saw you call it that until now. (Or at least never noticed it.) But, maybe others just thought it was a simple typo? I suppose it isn't known how much of these cities/planets will be explorable from the first login, but indications from all these videos are leading me to believe that I'll have played for about 12 hours before I actually begin my first mission. Pretty deep.
