this is a quick question that just cane to my mind about photon rounds as i was playing pso today.

Do the photon rounds in psu dissapear at a certain distance to show there range or do they keep on going and only do damage up to a certain range to show the range of the weapon?

please do answer cause it would look very cool if they didn't disapear untill the photon rounds hit somthing, but would only do damage up to their "effective range". that would make the photon rounds seem more 'real' rather than just dissapearing in mid-air for no reason

Good question. In PSO you were able to hit enemies with a rifle just outside lock-in range. I was wondering if the same will be true for PSU. The first person shooting would be pretty awesome that way.

They only do damage for a certain effective range, I saw a video of a force using a longbow to bust open boxes and some of the boxes didn't bust open even though the photon projectile hit them. The boxes were out of the effective range.
