PSU: PC PS2 360 Release Same time ?

Just wondering if it's coming to all three systems at the same time, I have a PC PS2 and 360 but if the servers for 360 are separate I'll just wait, no sense in making a character on PS2 / PC and then not using it when I would prefer to play on 360.

nothing has not been confermed but last we heard PSU will come out in the spring (US) for xbox360

Why, The 360 version only has tweaked graphics and voice chat, it's the same game. When they bring it to the US and Europe all they have to do is translate it, Why would they have to take time working on translation for the 360 version If the PC and PS2 version are already almost translated when the 360 version is released in Japan? All they would have to do is apply the same translation to all 3 versions and release them simultaneously.

I don't think they should cause in japan xbox360 has a differnt time stamp...and that's what's been expected here to...spring of next year

If they dont come out at the same time that would case all kinds of trouble. People waiting for the 360 version would get too anxious and get the PC version instead, thus making the 360 version even more likely to become a ghost town.

And that spring date is clearly fake, only 1 website that I've seen lists it in spring 2007, Gamespot.

the Xbox360 version might come out a month after the other rsystems.

this is because they didn't start on the Xbox360 version until 1 or 2 years after they started work on the other systems.

remember for the longest time they announced PSU for PC and PS2 and it wasn't until recently that they announced it for Xbox360.

well as long as sametime releases don't force them to delay all of the versions JUST for the sake of releasing them at the sametime.

I believe 360 will come out much later than PS2/PC.

Both PS2/PC versions are already playable and networkable. They've had years to work on those versions. So while the 360 version IS a port, there is still a lot of work to be done on it, such as getting it setup to work with X-box Live, control features, screenshotting features (if any) etc.

So I'm pretty confident that PS2/PC will be out around Oct 24th, but I think the 360 will be at least a month or so later. Also, SEGA's PSU website doesn't even mention 360 yet.

Wouldn't really matter for 360 users since they can't be disadvantaged by others who have gotten a headstart on another system, since they're on different servers. Sucks to wait though.

I don't see any reason why PSU on the XBox 360 won't be released at the same time as PSU on the PC. Suposedly, it is fairly simple to port a PC game over to the XBox 360 and make no mistake about, PSU on the XBox 360 is essentailly the same game as the PC version ( ie. it's not like Sonic Team is going to building the game from scrathch like they are with the PS2 and PC versions ).

Xbox360 is still a different system and getting all the networking for it right, especially since it's separate from the other systems, will take extra time to ready.

I've been following the 360 version closely, and I've never, ever heard a spring date for the 360 version. Unless you can provide a link, I'll take this as pure, unsubstantiated speculation.

A poster at the Gaming-Age forums who has accurately provided information in the past posted a while back that the 360 version would ship in the U.S. this fall and that Sega was gunning to get it out at the same time as the PS2 and PC versions, but that it might slip slightly past. I'll see if I can dig up a link to that post.

Ouch, even Gamespot makes mistakes. All signs seem to indicate that the X360 version might come out a little later.

I hope it comes out in October for 360....I think they'll try for a single release date. Even though the 360 has it's own seperate servers and all that it would still be so unfair for pc/ps2 users to get a head start and hold it above our heads. =p

Xbox360 really has nothing to worry about 'falling behind' since its not linked with the others anyways.

it might be better for 360 version to be released at the same time just for the offline play and maybe a month later the online server gets ready to go online, that way ppl don't have to wait too long and SEGA can take their time to perfect the online server for PSU 360,
