I hope you're not judging me. I don't help just anyone. You don't have to do something for me in order to get my service or assitance, but I at least need to hear from someone about you.

If I don't know you and you want my help for free, chances are it'll be a no. I help friends out and will always help them out. I don't expect them to return any favor, but it would be nice if they had my back like I have theirs. That's just how I am and since this game is mission based instead of an open world, it will call for less of that.

Of course I have saved random people from dying in FFXI, that's something I'll do, but I don't help with a quest or a mission unless my friends ask, you have reputation with me, or I get paid.

I think you are confusing server for lobby/city.

servers are different universes (like Bahamut, Ifrit, Shiva, etc. except you can freely jump between them at no cost).

and in each universe is the solar system and each planet has its own lobby/city where 100s of players meet and shop and stuff.

Bandwidth is pretty good in my location, and my system will be spankin' new by the time PSU comes out, so playing on a crowded server seems like an advantage to me. Thanks to the blacklist option, I'm not worried about 12-year-olds or spammers.

More players = more options for teams.

But I will be doing a bit of server jumping just to keep things interesting. I'll probably avoid the first server as a matter of course.

Perhaps the biggest challenge will be getting a maximum of quality players on the same servers.

It all depends, I'd prefer a more veteran but recreational type atmosphere. Probably a server without overcrowding. I want to be able enjoy the game without bother from "lolzcanIgetsomemoniplz"-type people.

So ye, a mature server if possible, populated with people that want to find out more about the game's functions, static groups, etc...

I'm pretty sure it wasn't implied as a server for only us, but all of us (except saner because he'll be at the heavily populated one) can just chill on one specific server that is decently populated.

I'm actually down for that idea. We'll look for the most median of servers (not a ghost town but not a 12 year old fest) and call that as our home.

In PSO when I started, you weren't assigned. You had the ability to see the population of each server and jump at will.
