Any idea if they have anything that might grant side effects outside the ones known for elemental attacks...such as poison or paralysis?
Perhaps they're not out yet, but maybe a beta tester could answer this please.

I don't know about poison or paralysis, but if i'm not mistaken theres fire damage that hurts you over time and frozen.

ya, burning looks to be even more dangerous than poison.
and ice freeze is practically paralysis but even more dangerous since they can't attack AND can't move.
but I heard something about traps returning so I guess you can probably poison and paralize with those.

Yes, but freezing had a shorter timer duration then paralysis....and there were some things that were stronger to fire (taking next to no dmg) then they were to the neutral damage poison dot (though there was plenty that was the reverse as well).
I looked over the link from the last poster and it seems that (unless someone finds out otherwise) traps are going to be the only way to do alot of status effects. I guess that's going to give a leg up for casts (assuming traps are still cast only).
Thanks for the info

Yes, they exist. I've heard about certain Youmei weapons confusing, though I'm not sure anymore which ones. More accurate data in a few weeks I guess.

I hope they still have Confusion weapons, a Confusion Shotgun would pwn all http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

Oh yeah, someone that has the premiere disk needs to buy a virus trap and see what it does while you can.

There's a Burn Effect now? Nice, add a kick to the fire techniques.
