Grants and Medgid?...I mean the light and dark spells have no name...THat's what they might name them....

What old spells do you want to see returned? Or do you want some spells to have the orginal effects? (like I think zondie and gizondie got switched.)

Grants and Megid will certainly appear, and those will be the names as well (or something similar), since there are light and dark element Photons called Graphoton and Megiphoton respectively.

I hope they're alot awesomer this time around, I mean with more spells per alignment, as opposed to a heavy damage to one enemy spell, and an instant death spell.

I didn't like that Megid only hit one enemy...

It'd be nice if you can do joint technics like how you could in Phantasy Star 4. Now that was a great game. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

I'd like megid, but only if it was classic megid, not this purple cloud.

I've seen higher-level Megid behave like Barta and hit two or three lined up, actually.

I wouldn't mind seeing Fanbi make a return. I always thought this technique could've been rather useful had it been better adjusted. What Fanbi did, was it would take HP from the enemy, to give it back to you.

I also figure it might be good to have a wider variety of buffs and debuffs than just the Shifta/Deband/Jellen/Zalure combo. It'd be nice to have buffs & debuffs for accuracy, resistances and maybe even speed, as well.

I pretty much don't like any instant death spells. Too unreliable... unless you're like, fighting some LOW level monsters.

well you wouldn't want an instant death spell that was reliable, that would take the entire point of the game away dont you think? :/ IMO i liked it the way it was, because if Megid was reliable no one else would use any other spell in the game.

So what... they just have it there to make the other spells look better in comparison? Huh, its all coming together now...

I found megid useful on Pan-Arms and Ep2 mini bosses http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Classic Megid is too powerful for online games like these. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime2.gif

All I wanna see is freaking red boxes. When I see that first red box from an enemy drop, I'm gonna wet myself.

Grants...everyone talked about medgid...WHY DON'T YOU TALK ABOUT GRANTS GRANTS WAS THE SECOND MOST FUN SPELL TO USE IN THE GAME (the first was Rafoie) AFTER GRANTS WAS RESTA

noone ever gives any credit to gifoie, now that was an awesome technique. Especially for online, get in the center of a room and spam it, I could wipe out entire rooms that way http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif rafoie this, rafoie that, ya well it pales it comparison to the awesomeness of gifoie mwahahahah

Gifoie was awesome later on. I never had Online, but my friend did, and he showed my a super high level Gifoie that was like, two Dragons spinning around or something.

Yeah, Gifoie was nice, but I think it left me to open after casting. While Rafoie, you could hide behind your Hu buddy and, boom, boom, boom.
Gifoie however, had it's use hindered, due to the fact no one will cover you if your in middle of a bunch of monsters. ><
But the Foie that spreads out along the ground in this one looks more safe and useful.
And I'm thinking the light and dark will be damage based. >>

I don't know... I found Megid to be very useful in ultmite EP2 with my FOnewearl when i found Megid lv30... Almost too good.... It's kinda funny seeing other players join my team online and telling me to stop useing Megid cause they couldn't even get a chance to hit anything thing XD

Good Times...

Grants in PSU seems to behave like a Gi technique because it is a shockwave of light that knocks enemies away from you while dealing damage to them.

I believe megid may be the opposite and pull enemies toward the place it was casted on like a black hole and then deals damage to them, kind of like Olga Flow's attack seen in this picture.

I just want to point out that a Megid cast by FOnewms, FOmars, and FOmarls only hit one enemy. However, a FOnewearl's megid can penetrate much like Barta. It's a special ability that's unique to FOnewearls. Also, Megid will penetrate if you cast it with a Demonic Fork equipped.
