Please, try out the Virus Trap, I'm really interested in what the infection status effect does.

aaaaaaah where is Shiramisu,

I think Shiramisu might be happy to help us see and learn as much as possible from the PS2 beta as possible since online is still available for it right now. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif

The virus status effect is just a poison-effect, losing life over time rather like the burning status effect.

ok then so what is the sleep status effect?

It can't be enemy imobilization because that is freeze and paralysis.
It cant be enemy unable to attack because that is shock.
It cant be enemy unable to use photon arts because that is silence.

The virus status effect is just a poison-effect, losing life over time rather like the burning status effect.
That can't be right because there is a fire trap, a Poison trap, and a Virus trap.

Fire trap causes combustion, the enemy takes damage over time but it eventually goes out.

Poison trap causes poison, the enemy takes damage over time but it needs to be cured or else it wont go out.

It would be unneccisary for the infection status to be the same as burning where it lasts only for a certain amount of time.

Sleep should be imobilization unless enemies can sleepwalk and sleepattack.

Ah, I got it now. Infection lasts longer than burning and sleep lasts longer than freeze.

You also have to remember that each effect also has an element associated with it. So some enemies will be resistant to Freeze but not less resistant to Sleep. And the same could go for Virus and Burning.

makes absolute sense (I was confused too)
