How Old Are You PSU Fans?

Just wandering if there was anyone my age still playing this game I'm 23 years old started on GCN but that version was'nt very popular and died pretty fast, bought Episode 3 but it was even less successful then 1$2 on GCN skipped BB. I will be buying PSU on PS2.

i dont think it matters. if anyone is 15(such as me) they'll think of it as "i'll choose the higher one because im gonna grow older not younger" the only reason some1 would pick the first is if they dont see the 15-17 or if they want to be different. well thats my thoughts on life. ill retreat under my rock again.

It's funny how early 20 somethings think they're old. I can't fault them as I thought the same at that age. I've always been older in some ways. Being one of the older people here on PSOW, I can say it's easier to feel older when you ARE older. To counteract this, I've tried acting younger on times (only for moments, I'm not immature), if anything, to remind me that tho I will be 31 in about 2 & 1/2 months, I'm not really that old. I'm 33, and have been playing the Phantasy Star series since 1988, and the Sega Master System (been there, played that). Played all of the Online games starting with the Dreamcast and ver.1 back in 2001.

I was going to play on the PC version, but I won't most likely have a PC in time, so I'll probably wind up playing on the PS2 instead.

wow you people make me feel young. there are only 3 or so posts here saying they are under 15. altho us "youngins" dont know how good the Phantasy Star series really is since we're too young for phantasy star I-IV. some of the dreamcast users(me included on this) will have at least played PS II(sega came out with a sega smashpack with some old genesis games. PS II was included) but we really dont know how good this series really is. oh and i am another one who got interested in the game from a friend.

Almost replicate of my story; I'm 22 and I started on DC dreamcast, etc just read my signature. anyways I was obsessed with the GC version plus I was on a lot of pain medication at the time so I played it incessantly as fuc.k and here I am today trying EP4 before I get the real shimmy!

And I know how good PS 1-3 is, due to having the collection of GBA, as soon as I learned there was a prequal to PSO. As I grew up on classic FF, and I find PS definately has some finer points.
Though I haaaaate PS3's battle system, and how they're kinda slow. I like the sprites and the fact you have profile pictures. ^_^
I wish they'd make a remake of it, because then they'd fix the battle system. ><
But I'm still lacking PS4. ><

Not if you exercise self-control. Smoking a pipe (tobacco) or cigar every now and then while you relax is probably one of the best things you can do for yourself. I can't say my parents really made me into a gamer, but it did start as their fault lol. I got my NES (my brothers) '85. I was 2 years old and I beat Super Mario Bros. From there, I enjoyed the system because it was the most challenging and most enjoyable thing I ever layed my hands on.

My parents told me that I should play sports and this and that, in which I did, but I liked games more. I got my SNES for christmas god knows when, N64 for christmas, Dreamcast for christmas, I bought my gb pocket, GBA, DS, Cube, and my brother bought a PS2.

I love doing active stuff, but games are where my pasttime is at. What other sport do you get enjoyment playing with AND without your friends?

Somethings are just better with other people, but there really aren't that many universal things out there.

Games are misunderstood IMO. They're stigmatize even, my girlfriend can't understand whats fun about it but the worst part is, she wont even TRY to look into why it's fun. I am sure there has to be a game out there for EVERY person. Some people just have this idea about gaming that it's kids stuff, nerdy, waste of time etc. Games have grown so much in the past ten years or so.

I turn 22 in a few weeks. I have been playing since the GCN version and am currently playing Blue Burst. There are so many great games coming out by the end of the year, but PSU is by far #1 on that list. I'm even asking for 1 gig of RAM to add to my computer for my birthday so the game will run as efficiently as possible.

Yes, I do feel very old. I am so happy though that I get to play with people much younger and older than myself. I'm glad gaming has come as far it has, and yes, I'm a gamer for life.

Indeed kind sir.. it is hard to believe that I got the original PSO because I thought it looked cool when I was reading EGM. I did not even know where to get it so I ended up ordering it online (now I know that I could have gotten it pretty much anywhere). I was 16 and I was going around asking my entire family to supply me with one of their credit cards because i needed to set up the online portion of the game. Same here, been on PSO since Day 1, my mom let me use her CC then kept on getting pissed cuz I'd be up all night and up early as hell on school days playing online.

Those we're the good ol' days, I met a whole bunch of ppl but sadly my memory is random so I don't remember everybody cept for a couple like Balbarei, Forever Zero(my fav Cat Gurl Killer lol), Taylor a.k.a Legolas, C-Gar, and I think Link00Seven. I knew a hell of a lot more but those are the ones I remember clearly.

Turned 18 in July. Played since a PSO Episode 1&2 on the Xbox. Never had a GCN or Dreamcast at the time, I got it free with my Xbox Live (a deal EBgames was doing at the time), and loved it. I have since cancelled Xbox Live and sold the game (because I cancelled live and got a Gamecube, I was gonna get the Cube version. but I could not find it then they announced PSU so I decided to wait).
