I think he means are the enemies generally a piece of cake e.g boomers or are they capable of actually offering a good fight.

Depends on the enemy and the difficulty ranking of the mission, I'd think. From what I've heard, some enemies can do flips and other evasive tactics. Also, some enemies have rear-attacks, so if you try and get behind them they'll give you a surprise wallop-in-the-face.

I don't have any first-hand experience, though, unfortunately.

They still wait forever before actually attacking you when they're in position.

The PC beta's over, and you can only play the PS2 version with certain software and a torrent that I'm not allowed to tell you the location of.

This forum really, really needs another good FAQ.

I am wondering, is it still possible to solo easily(online)? Like in PSO
Cause I only ever plan on playing with 1-2 other people and mostly by myself. I hope you can still solo bosses as well.
Maybe I am just getting worried since they raised the group # to 6. I hope you don't need 6 people to finish areas/bosses.

Well the monsters in a video I saw were pretty slow and went down easily, but it was probably an easy dungeon heh heh.

Well you might have a slim chance of getting the premiere disc (Ps2 beta) if you were in Japan.

The offline monsters from the premium disk are easy.
Monsters from beta videos look easy.
The monsters from the finnished product will probably be harder.

I finally got around to putting my videos on Youtube for easy viewing, since linking to the high resolution versions on my webspace would be murder on my bandwidth. You can see the monster behavior and difficulty in some of the footage (http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=C494AA577731B9E0) for rank B missions.

Basically, monsters hit harder and move faster based on their level and whatever other factors Sonic Team puts into missions.

well i just hope they are harder...tho PSO in ultimate is a big challenge when playing either solo seabed or ruins...or just multiplayer because of the increase of monsters and health gain they get. by the looks in the videos it looks like the monsters have alot more hp then in PSO.

ya dont worry monsters based on rank/difficulty can be stronger, faster and more durable.

so ya you can't just button mash your way without running out of healin items. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif

besides they upped the party limit to 6 and you can carry 20 monomates instead of 10 and stuff like that.

so ya the enemies may be harder than before, but initially I think they will start out easy, naturally. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

but of course it depends how you fight and if you understand when and how to avoid some of their attacks/counter-attacks. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

All the changes sound great! So its safe to assume that the monster will much more challenging in the higher difficulties, huh?
