Yes. I am ranting about pants. Apparently I wear a size of pants that simply doesn't exist: 28" slim. For whatever reason, anything under 32" slim (more often 32" regular) is essentially non-existant in stores. Now, I will admit that it is a rather small size, but I see plenty of other men that have similar size builds that have the same problem.

Now, the problem is essentially non-existant when it comes to jeans I will admit. Jeans are extremely easy to find in my size, hence why I wear them every day. But, slacks, khakis, dress pants, whatever you call them, I have a nearly impossible time to find any, let alone in a style (I like pleated, not flat) and especially not in a color I like. Essentially my choices for colors in pants are, khaki, navy blue, and black saying I can find them at all. Creme, white, and grey are, at least locally, impossible to get in my size.

I guess being smaller than average doesn't have the same focus as larger than average judging on the number of XXL shirts and 48" pants that I can find. I propose the creation of a new chain: Short and Skinny. Until then, I guess I'm stuck wearing jeans, while comfortable, are not as professional as I would care to show.

Number of people with a waist less than 32"/number of obese people X number of clothing stores=number of pants for you!

Let me raise you with my problem. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

Size 36 is too tight for me... but size 38 is too loose. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_disapprove.gif

My first glance: Omg, Norvekh is against the wearing of pants. But of course I quickly reconsidered this http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_lol.gif

Maybe all of the skinny people get there before I do...but most department stores seem to almost always carry pant sizes where the waste size is larger than the length. It's so hard for me to find any really good fitting jeans http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif

So I gave up on department stores and discovered the wonders of Target and Old Navy. I don't really go to Wal-Mart because you know they have union issues.

Hah, depending on the manufacturer of the pants it is sometimes necessary to go to anything from 26" to 30" with me. Shoes are a similar problem in that I have pairs that fit at 6.5 all the way up to 8... But, that's another rant altogether. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_disapprove.gif
