Importing PC version?

I haven't seen much discussion about this, so I was wondering...

As far as importing the PC version of PSU goes, would it not work on a non-JP version of Windows? I'd like to import and get a feel for the game before the US release, but I don't want to order it from some place and end up with a PSU-themed coaster. >.>

I haven't run into a piece of Japanese software yet that wouldn't run on my copy of Windows. At most, you might have to go change your system language and such.

There are programs out on the web that can temporarily provide a JP environment for installations and even operations of JP software....all without you needing to change your language everytime....just check around the web and I'm sure you can find one.

The beta worked fine on non-JP versions of Windows, so I'm sure the retail version will.

Windows XP SP2 / Windows 2000 SP4 can dynamically adapt itself to meet the region requirement of any language.
XP SP1 and prior iterations may require a utility from MS called AppLocale (http://www.microsoft.com/globaldev/tools/apploc.mspx)
