Saving game

OK I just got the game last night and havn't really started playing yet. But from the small amount of time I spent with it I couldn't figure out how to save the gane.

Does it have save spots or is it a save anywhere game? And how do I save it?

There is save points in the offline game, I think they are blue crystals, the first save point is in your room.

Does that apply to the PC version too? That would be a bummer (well, depending).

The first save point you see in the game is right after you're attacked in the Linear Line and you get your first Saber and Gun.
