Personally I don't want to have to experience all the glitches and mistakes and character swaps and rollbacks and such...By the time it's in NA I hope the majority of the major bugs have been taken care of!

The glitches and losses won't really matter for most people because they will most likely drop the JP version once the NA one comes out. 51 days ^_^

Yeah? Well I'd enjoy goofing around on the JP version! Yay, end of topic.

You better not play any other mmorpgs that are'nt made by a God then, which is pretty much all of them. Even god made ones are messed up

Sep 3, 2006, 12:53 AM
I don't care if it's messed up, I want the game, I am just a bit relieved that they will be able to work out some of the bugs before it comes to NA. Losing a char because of a swap is pretty frustrating....

Upside of the swap: You get to play with that person's stuff... and, if you know who they hang out with, make them look like an ass. If they haven't told the people they hang out with that there's been a swap, that is... Not that I'd do that. >.>

It merely contains a statement, and kind of fails to invite any replies but flames. From my view, his post can be paraphrased as "har har, all importers made the wrong decision!". <_<

Well I'm sure we've all expressed similar sentiments at one time or other, I myself with the first batch of PSP which had dodgy lcd screens.

We all have a right to express an opinion without people flaming or making negative comments off the bat.

Importing is usally a double edged sword for me, more so when theres no 'English' option. My enjoyment of PSOBB Jp was curtailed due to this.

I (personally speaking) agree with the original poster up to a point.

........but if you truly love playing the pso franchise then there are a lot of folks (myself included) who put up with the negatives just simply to play a new version of the game.

Well, if it means anything

I'm glad some of the people on the JP servers are staying there, cause I certainly wouldn't want them on the US servers http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Which won't matter too much if I'm not playing with random people anyways

Huh

lol, I don't see why everyone is spazing out over a few problems. Besides none of the troubles have been so bad that one can't play the game and have fun like it was back on PSO DC, with all the crazy haxs and cheats. Not really game breaking stuff. As for the server population problem, I'm not surprised the least. Its a JRPG that meets all of the criteria for being a popular one in Japan. I'm sure there won't be the same server overload problem here in the States as there is in Japan. Also, I mean its not like we can play this game 24/7. So the times that I do get to play the games have gone very smooth. Becuase its not JP peak time. If you played early in the morning when people are getting on, then I wouldn't be surprised.

Me and a friend imported together and usually have the same play times as well. Its so awesome figuring stuff out together and noobing it up with a buddy. Took me like half an hour to figure out how to switch weapons when I first started haha. Its really all about good times, and thats what it should be about. I'm know I am having good times, and I'm sure everyone else who has imported already has too.

Natrokos is partially right and wrong though.
Sonic Team/Sega (i dont really care http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif) couldn't have expected for 100.000online players at once :S They might have speculated people would wanted to have played the offline version first (like I will) before they go online.
But 100.000 is a-freaking lot anyway.

Though, it's a good thing too, since by the time it'll come out in the US/EU it'll all be solved http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif End of discussion http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

Everyone feels the same way about importing games they can't understand as you Kamica, don't worry, you are an idiot.

Saiffy

Well, you don't. But I'd rather be able to understand everything. Not just be able to "play the game". If you don't care that you can't understand it all, then fine, doesn't mean everyone feels the same way.

Besides, you know Japanese, you don't count http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_disapprove.gif

EDIT: Maybe I care about the story a little too much.

You're implying one would need much knowledge of the language in order to be able to play and understand the game. D:

What exactly are you getting at? We have an opening post that can be summed up as "I'm glad I didn't import because then I'd have to deal with bugs and rollbacks" and here you are on a rant about being able to understand the text.

Saiffy
Sep 3, 2006, 12:57 PM
Because I know Kamica's stance on this? On USBB boards he's made it very clear waiting for USPSU "fails".

Waving his opinion around like a fool waves his penis at traffic.

So maybe I was a little off topic. But off topic in the PSU forum being new? Are you retarded?

So basically, it's a personal grudge. Gotcha.

Besides, I never said anything about posting off topic being new. Overreact much?

Yes, Personal grudge. you sure know a lot about me.

Well, Parn, you've proven to be you're a dumbass MANY times in the past, why would now be any different? http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_rolleyes.gif

*Plays devil's advocate*
The original poster has a point. By the time it comes to NA, more kinks in server load handling should hopefully be worked out.

I just don't see this topic going anywhere positive from here lol. Also the topic title almost begs for flaming/arguments.
