Well, I was going through the PSU DVD trying to rip the music with CubeMediaPlayer and I found tons of tracks. Now here's the fun part, there are quite a few PSO tracks, including Tricktrack. Anyone know where these play at? The one that had me wondering the most was Vol Opt's 2nd theme, does this mean we will see it in the online mode?

Thats interesting, and on another note I'm glad they brought back Tricktrack, I liked that track.

Are the PSO tracks remixed or are they the original versions? And yeah I loved tricktrack, probably my favorite track from ep1&2.

PositionLight

Is this the PS2 or PC version? I tried renaming all of my files in my data folder to .adx, but all i heard out of that was the cutscenes, no music.

Are you serious?

Indeed. In fact, there's 2, but I think the other one is from the sequel because I don't remember it on Feel the Magic.

Feel the Magic: XY/XX is a video game developed by Sonic Team[1] and published by SEGA for the Nintendo DS. First released in North America on November 16, 2004, it was one of the system's launch titles. Its Japanese title is I Would Die For You (きみのためなら死ねる Kimi no Tame Nara Shineru), and its European title is Project Rub.

In the game, the hero must do everything he can to make a girl fall in love with him. The hero is sent through a series of performances in order to impress her. This game features a voice recognition system through both speaking and breathing. This game is similar to Wario Ware in that it is composed of several minigames that are loosely linked, as the player tries to impress the girl.

Feel the Magic is played solely with the stylus and microphone. The graphics are simple and stylized, having a 70's look to them. There are three main modes of play. 'Story' mode is the main mode which contains the minigames in chapters. 'Memories' is a mode where one can play any of the previous minigames one has beaten. A third mode called 'Maniac' is where one gets to take all the articles of clothing one earns during the game to dress up the 'host' of the game. One can poke the girl and she reacts in funny ways.

On February 2, 2006, the game won the "Best Concept" award at the 2006 Imagina Games Awards. [2]

Can anyone identify this track? It was next to the other SEGA games' tracks, so I'm guessing it's from another game.

It's the ending theme from Space Channel 5 Part 2 entitled "This Is My Happiness."

I'm not really that surprised that's included, to be honest; especially considering the referencenes SonicTeam have already made to SC5 with the news station Gurhal Channel 5 and Hal, the news reporter who bears more than a striking resemblance to Ulala, the main character of SC5.

PSO after so many episodes had alot of music, has psu got the same ammount right now or is there only 10-15 new tunes in total?

I will let you know in a few hours when this is done scanning the DVD. There are some tracks I heard in-game that are not listed here, yet.

Maybe they'll have something to where you can unlock the music or maybe a Jukebox 'ala Episode III. :E

PositionLight

Wow.. There was a lot of music/sfx, it took almost half of my day to scan it too. After getting rid of some of the unnecessary sfx and cutscene chatter, I'm left with about 90+ tracks (counting the PSO tracks). Maybe a little less than that, some are just tracks used in the cutscenes and others are jingles.

Just a heads up, I've created a torrent with the full PS2 soundtrack rip for downloading..

Can't tell you where it is posted, so don't ask here or in PM, but most people already know where to look.

Happy listening! =)

United Game Artists is pretty much a part of the "Sonic Team family" now since that reorganization back in the day. Does Hal actually make an appearance anywhere, though? Aside from that official website entry and short audio clips I haven't seen her at all. I'm only up to Chapter 7 in Story Mode, though. She might be online only?

"Tricktrack" is the music for VR Spaceship. It's an old school Phantasy Star remix of about five or six songs. Vol Opt's second form is called "You have nowhere to go".

People looking for actual story connections between PSU and PSO are almost as misguided as people who think there's an actual story connection between Xenosaga and Xenogears.
