What does error 51 mean?

They are throttling the SEGAlink servers to better control flow of character data, so you may get Error 51 when attempting to login, or error 52 when attempting validate SEGAlink ID/password.
It means either there are too many people trying to login, or servers are under maintainence.
I'm online now, so keep trying, you'll eventually get in.

Well kept trying for 3 hours.

I initialy got in, I panicked and made a test char to ensure I'd be in.

I then accidentally got in again wthout looking at the screen, it put me in the test char. But it's not let me in since. I was hitting enter for a solid hour after that. I've been getting up through the night and nothing. It's now a pretty ridiculous hour for those with work in the morning.

Do I regret making the test char at first? Yes and no. Of course, I COULD be playing atm if I had not - and that is a VERY big maybe as I would have spent a good 20 minutes perfecting my char's face. But at the same time I do not want to be playing with the servers in this state. So, I'd have eventually logged off and gone to bed. Then tried to get in again and be cock-blocked by Sega. You know what? I can't leave my fucking PC on all night, guys.

This is a fucking mess and a crying shame. Possibly the best game I've ever played and they've wrecked it utterly.

I'm quite, quite despondant.

BAH! Hours of clicking and clicking, I finaly get online, make a character, and a server shutdown notice flies by in red, and something about 16:00 and I get booted. KHAAAAANNNN!

It will be down for the next 5 hours (11am-4pm JST)

On another note, once I got online earlier, the game worked flawlessly. Had no hiccups, no disconnects, nothing.
