Exp bars are always nicer to have than numbers, I think. Numbers make it seem too long hehe

So true, and I actually like it, instead of acessing the menu =).
They should have a % in there too or so.

No every decent MMORPG has a exp bar so its not a copy. Hey i betcha pokemon probobley copied some other RPG. Its not stealing its a thing that every RPG should have and its great PSU has it.

Pokemon stole many ideas from other games as well.

What ideas might these be?

the whole 'tamagochi' aspect.

the HP bar RPG aspects that older games have used in the past.

the capturing monsters aspect was stolen from Tobal 2, which had about 200 monsters you could capture by weakening them and then throwing a crystal at them.

I could go on but I'm surprised you would ask such a question. Pokemon is not even 50% original.

Just making sure you werent saying it nicked ideas for the sake of it ^_^
Although the hp bar bit dosent really count because if you use that logic then basically every RPG ever has technically ripped eachother off.
