can you play your char both online and off?

Is it like the old pso were you can play chars both on and off line or not? The way things seem to read you have 2 different chars 1 online and 1 offline.

no, your character will be stored on sega's servers...so u can not alter your data (hack and cheat)

From what I heard & was reading about, your offline & online characters are separated. Sonic Team will keep your online characters on their servers while your offline characters will be on your memery card.
