1) I just got the game about 3 days ago. i tried playing the VR Temple level on ep. 2 and it was damn hard! i am not a PSO noob, i have both the DC versions, but lev do you think me and my friend should be b4 i try episode 2?
2) i have a widescreen HDTV and a surroundsound system.i am ordering the component video cable and i am wondering if the Pro Logic II is backwards compatiible with my Pro Logic I system. also is the game only work with 480p or does it also permit 780p or 1080i? these might be more of tech questions but, oh well.

1. You should be around level 10-12 for Barba Ray (VR temple), level 20+ for Gol Dragon (VR Spaceship), don't ask me for Gal Griffon (Central Control Area), and I think Abdur said around 45 for Olga Flow (Sealab)
2. It should support progressive scan. Ask IGN and they may post it in their Nquery section.

I did'nt say 45 for Olga Flow, I'm still in Episode 1. o_O
I just got a GC and Episode 1 & 2 afew days ago. I'm only lvl 22 at the moment. I'm working my way through Episode 1 before I go through Episode 2. =X

I'm not sure about the answer for this one. Try looking around, or wait until someone here knows. =)

Yes, however, the surround sound won't be quite as defined as it would be if you had a DPLII compatable system.

The game won't output anything higher than 480p.
