WTF does the light spell do that makes like a green barrier around you that spins, it costs around 35000 in the shop.

NVM i found out, it nullifies all spells cast at the user.

You can actually delete it yourself.

I imagine it's the technic that reduces damage from ballistic attacks. I believe it was called Rendis? I don't believe it was Retial, as raising TAP and MST has a different graphical effect.

It protects against ranged physical damage (bullets/arrows/etc).
