Will this game have really rare items like PSO?

I only ask because not many people have found any rares besides crafting items. Is this game going to have the long list of really rare items and cool weapons that made PSO so fun? Or is Sonic team taking the rares away in favor of more regular weapons? I just hope there is a ton of 10+ star items like back in PSO or I'll be dissapointed.

Dude.....lets think about this for 5 seconds.

Sonic Team= Extrememly Devoted to this game= DUH there will be rares, except they will be harder to get. You will probably have to synthesize them, leaving the chance for error and failure.

In short, yes rares, yes they will be better, cooler, more useful (most at least.)

I imagine some rares actually have to be crafted from rare recipe board thingies. For example, I can't see much else use for Rappy feathers...

From what I've seen so far, this time 'round it looks much more likely that you will find rare crafting materials, which you would then use to synthesize your own "rare" items.

there should be rares that can only be crafted at the manufacturing plants. like a Tenora or GRM prototype that can only be made if you take it to them and you have to come back when it's done like your room synthesis process. though i know that won't happen... http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

I would also imagine that not all rare materials are going to be used for one sole rare. One rare material might be used to craft 4 or 5 different rares, and it is your choice to decide whether you want to use the rare material to craft a unique: rifle, shotgun, handgun, sword, saber, double-saber etc.... What I want to know is, are there any 'rares' that need to be earned through an actual achievement as opposed to simply being lucky or making jillion runs? (Of course these so-called rares would be more common after someone finds out how to earn it, but it still serves as proof of accomplishment)

They've probably added more quests like the soul eater's and stuff like that. I suppose they could even have to do with the offline characters. Get Ethan's Sword or something? lol.
