This video features a hunter using various melee weapons and their corresponding PA's.

Now first question: Can rangers do all those PA's?

Second question: For single hand weapons (Sabers, Daggers, Claws) can you still do the PA's if wielding an off hand weapon or more specifically, a gun?

Ok, I'll answer what I can:

Q 1) If the Ranger can USE that weapon, yes, they can use most (probably not all [yet to be seen]) of the PA's

Q 2) You switch manually between using the Right handed weapon (Default) and the Left handed. In short, yes

(please for gods sake, correct me if I'm wrong)

The answer to the second question is yes. When doing a ranged/melee dual-wield, you simply go back and forth between the two weapons, you don't actually use them at the same time. The action-pallete is identical, with one button doing the melee weapon's normal attack and the other doing the PA while the melee weapon is active.

Edit:
Q 1) If the Ranger can USE that weapon, yes, they can use most (probably not all [yet to be seen]) of the PA'sRangers can use any melee weapon's PAs, but they can only level them up to 10. This means the PA will not be as strong as a Hunter's, and it will also not have as long a combo.

Each weapon has a photon art( sometimes more than one) that you can bind to it.
So whatever weapon the ranger can use you are able to use its PA if you have bound it to that weapon. Rangers can use sabers and spears for melee I believe. So They can use those weapon`s respective PA
Second question: Yes

As a ranger no, the midair hit is learned at level 11, and ranger caps at 10

If you want to melee, make a hunter

I want to gun more than I want to melee---

Not being able to fight ata range makes me feel limited. . . Can forces do level 10 PA's?

Forces cap at level 1 Skills (melee) and 10 Bullet, both are pretty much useless

Can I still do those knockbacks and knock ups? I'm reaching now http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif

Also, is it possible to shoot enemies in midair if you switch weapons quick enough or is it not worth the effort?

Depending on what weapon you're using there's gonna be different effects of the PA's.

Sure you can knock enemies into the air. The basic saber PA does that. You wont however be able to knock enemies back from the air as explained earlier.

I think its perfectly fair that Rangers can only do level 10 PAs.

The expert types (specifically Fighgunner) will probably satiate your need for fancy melee PA's to go along with your gunplay.

Yeah most likely. So if you want all that Ranger goodness with Hunter goodness go with Fighgunner.
